Promiscuous?

Tonight was pretty busy. I had a good ole "get to know ya" enrichment in the lounge of my apartment complex. We played the game where you introduce yourself and then tell two things that are true about yourself and one lie, and the audience has to decipher which one the lie is. I happened to be sitting next to the girl in charge, so I got to start. I was totally caught off guard. I'm not very good at coming up with a lie fast (right mom!?), and the room was so quiet, you could actually hear crickets in the background. Everyone was staring at me, I had to crack a joke to give myself some more time. Here were my things:

~ I have dated my husband since high school.

~ My husband is the only man/boy I've ever kissed.

~ I used to be a cheer-leader in high school.

If you know me AT ALL you should be able to pick out the lie easily. My mom on the other hand knew the lie, but didn't believe that was the only lie. She said, " Oh I remember your old middle school days." What is that supposed to mean! I don't know what she is talking about. Apparently she thought I was kissing boys all through middle school or something. But I want to set the record straight...I was not a promiscuous pre-teen mom! Goodness! I've always been proud of the fact that my husband is the only man I've ever kissed, and my own mother didn't even know it!

Anyway, I have a geography, statistics, new-testament, and art history test to worry about this weekend. I just want to get them over with! Oh and a paper tomorrow, dang it! You guys that are moms should be happy that you're finished with tests! I envy you!

Also, The Office came on tonight, it was great. I was watching it at my room-mates apartment, and then there was a knock on the door. It was the police. Her room-mate had just had a huge fight with her boyfriend and they broke up, so he called the cops and had them take everything that was his or that he bought from her. It was awkward, so we came back to my place. It was a pretty eventful night!

TAG

Nichole tagged me! haha so this is the second post of the night!

Rules:

1. Post the rules on your blog
2. Write 6 random things about yourself
3. Tag 6 people at the end of your post
4. If you're tagged, DO IT and pass on the tag

Here we go!

1) This is the 100th blog I've ever posted! woot woot, I love blogging it's like a way better form of journalism!

2) I'm really mad and jealous that Nicole is in Disney World right now, I absolutely love Disney World. She's even staying at my favorite resort! I still love you Nicole.

3) The Nichole that tagged me is an OLD OLD friend. We used to play together when we were like 3 or something, our grandmas are friends. Her grandma was actually at my wedding ceremony!

4) I really don't want to get up for classes tomorrow, or ever for that matter. I have to work on papers and study for tests. Those are much more important than just sitting in a room ignoring a professor by playing solitaire on my phone.

5) I can't wait for Thanksgiving, and especially Christmas, and most importantly the end of winter semester because we're going on a disney cruise! That's what keeps me going!

6) My husband is asking what I'm doing. I'm sitting on our bed, in the dark, because I randomly got online and saw I was tagged and was really excited. I just tell him, "Don't worry about!" I sure do love him.

Hair

This is for mom, because it took 3 hours for me to get my hair done so by the time I got home, it was bed time in VA. I got my hair high-lighted.

And this is because I just couldn't help myself.

Lonely Finger

Today I took my engagement ring in to be "pretty-fied". I've been wearing it for about a year now, and it needed a touch up. Sadly I'll have to go all week with out it! My finger looks so naked with just the wedding band. Andrew said it looks like he's really cheap, like he didn't give me a ring when he proposed! So I put on the ring andrew gave me when he left for college (tear) four years ago. I was still left behind in high school, and Andrew wanted to give me a promise ring to show that he would love me even the whole hour away at JMU! I wore it from that day until he got back from his mission. Then I took it off so he would be reminded he needed to replace it! ;) So now I have a blue stone with two ity bity diamonds on it. It's a cute memory, but I want my real ring back!

Temple Visit

I love going to the Temple, it's a new and wonderful experience every time. Granted, this was only the second session I've ever done, but it's great! I love being so close to so many of them. I met up with one of my friends, we've known each other ever since we were little, from back when my family lived in North Carolina. I got there a bit early, so of course I had to take some pictures of the scenery, love it!

Stake Conference

Or General Conference? Well today we had our Stake Conference....and by "we" I mean 150 Stakes from the area. We had some pretty amazing speakers, it really was nothing like any Stake conference I've had in VA. Here a few of the speakers :

Dieter Uchtdorf - 2nd Counselor

Ann Dibb - President Monson's daughter and in the Young Women's General Presidency

Boyd K. Packer - President of the Quorum of the 12 apostles

Yep, living in Provo is a lot different than living in Virginia, for once, this is when it was a good different!

I miss home, even though this little apartment is technically my home, a true home is where ALL your family is located. Only a few more years and we can settle down back east. It was good having mom come out and visit, but I couldn't help but cry when she was leaving me for the others (Andrew, Mary, and Aaron). I tried to convince her to stay longer, and that they could take care of themselves, but she left anyway. She stocked up our refrigerator and cupboards which Andrew is very grateful for.

She also took the stickers off my jeep so it was more gender friendly since Andrew, Chuck, and I will be sharing it for the time being. And I mean ALL the stickers, even the sticker to my apartment complex which allows me to park here. So Saturday morning as I was taking Andrew to work, we were surprised we had a "boot" on the car. Luckily my old rommie lives right next door so she drove Andrew to work.

I've been trying to get more active since I hardly did anything but work and sleep in Saint Maarten. I've been able to play racquetball a few times and I've started an intramural soccer team with my old roomie, my best friend, and two of her room mates. We had a practice Saturday afternoon, and we have a lot to work on! Lauren and I are the only ones on the team who actually have played soccer for a team before. It'll be fun and will help get me back into shape! Everyone should come out for some games! I know my dad is ;) !

Classes aren't horrible, but not exactly a picnic either! Statistics and my English class will most likely be giving me the most stress from this semester. Next semester on I am finished will all General Education courses and can totally focus on taking classes for my Major. Andrew seems to actually have only one hard class (he's brilliant so he'll ace it anyway!). He is loving his job as an intramural supervisor, it's the perfect combination of work and play. I on the other hand am still looking for a decent job, one that has flexible hours, anyone have any hook-ups in Provo? Let me know!

Chuckie's 2nd Homecoming!

Mom is so happy to have her kids safely back in the country!

Chuck is not used to touching girls, he told me to get off him when I put my arm around him for the picture! I was laughing pretty hard!

Andrew and Chuck haven't seen each other in 3 years! When they left for their missions they were the best of friends, when they got back, they were brother in-laws!

The cousins were so excited to see him!

The whole group that was there!
